The Apartment

Originally a “quatre pieces” the French for a four room apartment (although the rooms rooms must have been rather small) the apartment was built sometime in the 1880’s. Completely renovated in 2008, the apartment is now a spacious studio designed for singles or a couple.

The main room has a living area with sofa, a dining table that seats four and a desk area. There’s a flat screen TV which you can watch from the sofa, while you're eating or from in bed.

The sleeping area has a queen size double bed with a bedside table and shelves.

The kitchen is small but fully fitted, with built in oven and ceramic hob, a concealed microwave and a fully integrated dishwasher and fridge with icebox. It is equipped with all you need for eating in or even for entertaining, but with so many restaurants just a short stroll away most of our guests, in spite of promises to themselves to take advantage of all the fabulous local food shops, never make much more than coffee.

Through the kitchen is the bathroom, with a full size bath with a shower over, a washbasin, washing machine and drying rack. There is a separate cloakroom off the entrance hall and all three rooms have a window onto the internal light well. Off the hall there is also a fully fitted walk-in closet.

Light and bright, with three (double glazed) windows overlooking the quiet one way street, the overall size of the apartment is 32 square meters (344 square feet).
